This serie of products allows to integrate a PROFINET network with a PROFIBUS net.
In case of Siemens PLCs (or equivalent), it is possible to use S7comm protocol to get and set data into them from a PROFIBUS net. S7comm protocol is a Siemens protocol: this protocol is very good if it is necessary to get and set data from/to the PLC without changing the configuration of the PLC itself. This protocol will work as a debug protocol and the automation below the PLC will continue to work without any interferance.
The HD67604 is a PROFINET / PROFIBUS Master Converter and it allows you to connect a PROFINET net (for example a SIEMENS PLC...) with some PROFIBUS devices.
The HD67605 is a PROFINET / PROFIBUS Slave Converter and it allows you to connect a PROFINET net (for example a SIEMENS PLC...) with a PROFIBUS Master net in order to exchange the informations between the networks.
The HD67619 is a S7comm / PROFIBUS Slave Converter and it allows you to connect a PROFIBUS Master (for example a SIEMENS PLC...) with a Siemens PLC (or equivalent) in order to exchange the informations between the networks without changing the configuration and stopping the automation of the PLC.
In all devices are installed 2 LAN ports with RJ45 connectors that allow you to not use an external switch and extend the Ethernet line.
